I read this almost a day late, and at first, thought it was a sick joke. Knowing the site we both previously posted on, it would not be all that out of the ordinary. A few hours later, with sadness, I believe it.

As a backstory, Mikey the Retard only survived in the early days of it's creation - due to the interplay with Starring Amy. One of hundreds of ghostnics I've created on ezboard and Yuku (dating as far back as 1999) it was destined to be tossed in the trash-bin of failed nics. Amy's childlike interplay with Mikey changed the dynamic of the original intent in a way that made Mikey more of Amy's creation than mine. Her personal messages and board banter with Mikey were fun in a way that messageboard posting rarely is, anymore.

For that childlike innocence, and consistant decency, I'll remember her short time at Sucks for a much longer duration than I would 99.9% of the people who I've posted with for the last 8 years.

A simple child,
That lightly draws its breath,
And feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?
